Polycarbonate has 150 times the impulse strength of tempered glass and is being used in various fields in construction with its malleability and machinability. Its continuous duty temperature is from -60℃ to +120℃. Polycarbonates are characteristic of its exquisite impact resistance and insulation properties.
The specific gravity is around half that of a glass and can be constructed in its bent state, reducing structure and construction costs. Its light permittivity is quite similar to that of glass and is used as a replacement for a shading net, ceilings, or windows. It is half as light as glass, making it easy for construction. Self-extinguishability and chemical resistance are both high. It has high strength and malleability for easier molding and is applied in various covers.
