PP(Polypropylene)
PP has a high mechanical strength and tensile strength. Its characteristics are mostly similar to PE, but is much more advanced than PE in stress cracking resistance, transparency, and tensile strength. It is fragile in subzero temperatures and has a low impulse strength, while it has high chemical resistance and electrical properties, and is also possible for welding
Product Specifications
The continuous-duty temperature is between +5℃ and +100℃. The specific gravity is low at 0.9 and its crystallinity is 95%. Its electrical properties are quite superior and is water and chemical resistant. It is mainly used for strong molding compounds, is food safe, resists stress cracking, and is available for welding and fusing.
It has a low oxidation resistance and is not quite weatherproof.
